Banjooooo!

This was my first completed commissioned piece! A Christmas present and a nice way to finish out 2025.
I don’t have any electric routing tools, so the fifth string situation was a challenge. I carved it out by hand and shaped and sanded.
The drum head henna is some of Tia’s work. I tried out my octagon frame idea for stability and less squishing. The fretboard has markings but no fretwire, to allow for some easier slide techniques.
